How cute how old are they for this first meal? What do you use as food? What breed are they?

The puppies are German Shepherds and they are four weeks old. I am using a large breed puppy food that is soaked in warm water then blended into a mash.

When we bring these new puppies into our homes, what is the best way to introduce them to our existing dogs and how do we help our existing dogs accept these new little monsters into the pack?

Constance, question number one is how old is your puppy now?

Amy, thanks for the great question. I think I can best answer your question by writing a blurb on the subject for everyone to read. Watch for an article by me on the subject of Introducing a new puppy or dog into a home currently occupied by an older dog.

PS: You can find the article quickly by going to Categories and select Puppy Training. You will find the article there quickly.

my puppy has a gruff tone when he isjust walking around as if he has something in his throat or he bloats up after a meal and it takes the day for him to normalize(a word) in size. HELP!

Perhaps you are feeding him too much at one time. How old is he? Try giving him 2 or 3 smaller meals spaced throughout the day.
